Checking of the emergency automobile air-conditioner

In this chapter the typical order of realization of checking of the system of air-conditioning of the emergency automobile with recommendations for terms of realization of this check is submitted.

Attention: Before the beginning of realization of any works connected to the system of air-conditioning, it is necessary to familiarize with the safety precautions described in the first chapter of the second part of this book.

Recommendations for check

Check of the air-conditioner for emergency automobiles needs to be carried out as soon as possible. Concerning the parts of the system of air-conditioning it is necessary to solve an opportunity of replacement or repair depending on a damage rate and time of presence in an atmosphere. In process of finding of the system in an open condition, time of presence for open air, therefore a plenty of air, a moisture is increased, a dust will penetrate into the system. But because of variety of characters of failures, it is impossible to establish rules of checking the air- conditioners of emergency automobiles, and checking should be carried out accordingly in each concrete case proceeding from a condition of the system.

Typical procedure for checking

First of all, it is necessary to remove a belt of the compressor and visually to check up a degree and a condition of damage of the evaporator, the compressor, the condenser, the receiver - dehydrator and the pipeline.

Condenser. At damage of parts of the condenser connected to the refrigerant, because of impossibility of repair on design features, it is necessary to change the condenser entirely in gathering.

Compressor. Visually check the compressor and at its damage replace it with a new one.

Receiver - dehydrator. It is a subject to replacement at internal damage, at damage of the connecting pipeline or a connecting site. Also it is subject to replacement at a long presence of the system in an open condition.

Accumulator. It is subject to replacement at external and internal damage, and also, unconditionally, at a long presence of the system in an open condition.

Evaporator. Check presence of damage and replace the damaged parts.

Connecting lines. Having checked up connecting lines, replace all damaged pipelines and hoses.

The device of adjustment. Having checked up the device of adjustment and damage of the other wires, the damaged parts are either repaired or completely replaced.
