Preliminary data on the bench equipment
Front panel
Components of the front panel:
A. SUCTION SEPARATOR.
Suction separator has built - in replaceable drying sack for removal of moisture contained in a recycled refrigerant, and other polluting particles. During regeneration, it is possible to measure volume of cooling oil on the divisions designated on an external part of the tank of suction separator.
B. Suction separator bulb and switch.
They are used at manual input of the information, during the maintenance of suction separator. (In more detail see the material on maintenance service of suction separator).
C. Master Filter.
This filter consists of 10 microparticles and starts DESICCANT.
D. Moisture Indicator.
For definition of the moisture amount which is in the refrigerant.
E. Pump.
The pump is set up in the compartment on the bottom side of the control panel and performs work on supply of the refrigerant from the automobile system into the recycling tank. Also carries out function EVACUATION, i.e. exhaust.
F. Oil Reservoir.
The tank is established on the left side of the pump and performs work on circulation of oil to the pump, (see a material on maintenance service of the pump).
Back panel
Components of the back panel:
A. Drawer.
It is intended for storage of tools.
B. Main power switch / disconnector.
Only after starting of this switch it is possible to start the auxiliary switch and the power supply set up on the control panel.
C. Temperature Proub Receptacle.
Into it the socket for definition of temperature is connected.
D. Servise Port.
They are designated separately &qout;HIGH" (high pressure) and "LOW" (low pressure), two hoses of dark blue and red color are connected to the unions.
E. Purge Bottle.
Cleared not condensed gas is laid there.
F. Scale.
Scale serves for measurement of refrigerant R-134a, quantity of the separated cooling oil, the regenerated amount of the refrigerant, the remained amount. Recycling tank, a tank of updating and a cylinder of cooling oil are set up on the platform of scale.
G. Heater.
Heats the filling tank for increase of efficiency of refuelling.
H. Tank Sensor S/W
Gauges which react to presence or absence on the tank for regeneration, a tank for cooling oil, a tank for refuelling are set up.
I. Tank Sensor Socket.
One end of a cable of the gauge incorporates to tip Socket, and other end is connected to a socket located on the top part of recycling tank. Thus, this gauge reacts and informs that completely on 80 % is filled the tank or it is not filled with the refrigerant.
J. Reclaim Tank.
Stores the regenerated refrigerant and repeatedly uses it.
K. Virgin Tank.
It is filled with a new refrigerant and as tanks various capacities are used.
L Oil Cylinder.
Processes the refrigerant oil.
Control panel
Control panel includes:
Left board.
It is painted in dark blue color and shows pressure on the low pressure part. At using and installation of a temperature probe it may show also temperature of a driver’s cabin. Besides, it may give the information connected to functions or with codes of defects.
Right board.
It is painted in red color and it shows pressure on the high pressure part and an ambient temperature of a workplace. Also shows the digital values connected to functions of a condition and codes of malfunctions.
Central board.
Given below light designations show functional conditions, tanks and operation, and also the necessary data of input.

Key Pad
Key pad includes:
Power button — 9
(POWER BUTTON) — for starting and stopping of the equipment, works only after starting of the main switch located behind the equipment.
Function buttons.
AUTO SEQUENCE BUTTON — 2.
This button is used, when it is necessary to start performance of all automatic cycle, namely, return on regeneration, exhaust, maintenance of vacuum, repeated refuelling etc. If to keep the button of automatic performance for 5 seconds automatically it is possible to cause all given at last automatic performance actions.
Button used only for return on regeneration — 3.
When it is necessary to carry out plums of the refrigerant from the system of air-conditioning of the automobile for return, use this button. At end of this operation on the central board there is an inscription "termination" and beside lights up green luminodiode.
CANCEL Button — 4.
- If to press once during single automatic performance, it is possible to erase any input information.
AMOUNT Button — 5.
It is used for definition of a level in the tank.
- If to press once, it will specify the regenerated amount during regeneration at the moment.
- If to press twice, it will specify the remaining amount in the recycling tank of refilling.
- If to press three times, it will specify the remaining amount in the tank of updating.
- If to press four times, it will specify the remaining amount in a cylinder of cooled oil.
TEMPERATURE Button — 6.
On the right index board the external temperature, and on left - temperature of a cabin of the driver is underlined.
Button of temporary stop/start/repeated start — 1 (HOLD/ENTER/RESTART).
Each time at regulation by the button of adjustment of numerical values (VALUE ADJUST Button) time of underpressure, time of maintenance of vacuum, amount of updating of the refrigerant, press this button and make input. Besides, with this button it is possible to stop any operation, to carry out repeated start and to start function of automatic performance.
Buttons of adjustment of numerical values — 7, 8.
These buttons serve for a choice of the adjusted digital values connected to time of underpressure by the amount of refuelling of the refrgerant, etc. If simultaneously together to press the button of a direction upwards - 7 (UP) and downwards - 8 (DOOWN) during 5 seconds, it is possible to enter in PROGRAMMING MODE.
When entering PROGRAMMING MODE it is necessary to choose the sizes of tanks, loudness of a buzzer, weight, pressure, vacuum, a unit of measurements of temperature; with these purposes buttons upwards (UP) and downwards (DOWN) are used.
Attention: Choice of the tank size is made prior to the beginning, first installation of a tank of updating or prior to the beginning of installation of a tank of other size.
