 Thermode behind the evaporator
Location:
It is set up on the front side of the air- conditioner case.
Function:
Consists of thermistor (resistance NTC). Reacting to temperature of the evaporator exhaust outlet, it enters the transformed signals of pressure into the controller depending on change of value of resistance.

Way of checking.
If the display lamp of check of the thermode behind the evaporator A lights up, they perform checking following the below-mentioned items.
- Disconnect 2-contact socket of the thermode behind the evaporator B.
- On the part of socket of the thermode behind the evaporator, by having connected the measuring instrument of resistance between plugs 1 and 2 they measure value of resistance (when the temperature of exhaust outlet of the evaporator is equal 4°С, value of resistance - 4 kOm).
- In case of difference from the specified value of resistance of the gauge they replace the thermode behind the evaporator, and in case of conformity - pass to the next item of checking.
- Switch on ignition.
- To the socket of autotemperature regulator of the air-conditioner between plugs 17 and 18, they connect the voltmeter and measure pressure. (Value of measurement pressure of approximately 4-6 V).
When the pressure is not measured, they check presence of breakage of a wire, and when the normal pressure is measured - they replace an autotemperature regulator and perform checking again.
