Devices included into the ACC system
In this chapter the description of the elements which are included into the ACC system is given. The material concerning their functions and necessary checks performed at occurrence of malfunctions or during servicing of the system is presented in details.
 Thermode of the heater radiator
Location:
It is set up in the bottom part of the heater radiator.
Function:
It consists of thermistor (resistance NTC). Reacting to temperature of a cooling liquid of the engine, it enters the transformed signals of pressure into the controller depending on change of value of resistance.

Way of checking.
If the display lamp of check of the heater radiator thermode lights up, they perform checking following the below items.
- Disconnect 8-contact socket of the electric motor thermode of the maximal cooling of the heater radiator.
- On the part of socket of the heater radiator thermode, by having connected a measuring instrument of resistance between plugs 1 and 2, they measure value of resistance (at temperature 20°С value of resistance approximately equally 7 kOm).
- In case of difference from the specified value of resistance they replace the thermode of the heater radiator, and in case of conformity to the specified value.
- Pass on to the following point of check.
- Switch on ignition.
- On the socket of the autotemperature regulator of the air-conditioner, they measure pressure between plugs 2 and 18 (measured pressure approximately 4-6 V).
- When pressure is not measured, they check the state of a wire and when the normal pressure is measured - they replace the autotemperature regulator.
