About several common errors
About several common errors.
That is not a secret, that the biggest part of conditioners is assembled in Asian countries. That is why no strong company will lie to you on the subject of the proposed equipment's origin. If someone will try to prove you that all presented conditioners are manufactured in Japan or USA you have a reason to feel a doubt.
For today mainly industrial and half-industrial models are arriving to us from a Country of rising sun, as well as some novelties, till its output will be arranged in the southeast Asia's countries. They produce mainly the compressors in Japan itself.
Shouldn't we be afraid of "Asiatic" equipment? In order to answer this question we must imagine clearly the reason under which the leading Japanese companies have transmitted manufacturing in Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and other Asiatic countries.
First of all that is a cheapness of the earth for the building up, low taxes, closeness to the sources of raw material and main markets. Notwithstanding the widespread stereotype the cost of man power practically does not play any role, as manufacturing of the conditioners is completely automated. At the Mitsubishi Heavy plants, which are manufacturing about half of a million conditioners per year, is working about 80 people! At that quality control engineering works are done by Japanese specialists. They trust to a local population at the most to pack up and to load. The same situation is at the other company's plants inside and outside the country as well.
Not only the Japanese transmit their manufacturing abroad. The Americans are doing the same, but they do this due to other reasons. The matter is that to put on sale split-systems at the USA's territory is not profitable, as the inner market is consuming only 20-30 thousands items per year. As a result the output of split-systems is transmitted closer to the main markets - countries of southeast Asia.
The reason of appearing of the plants in Europe is in the high import duty, which protect inner markets of these countries, and that is making the manufacturing on the spot more profitable.
What one really should be afraid of is the equipment proposed by "gray" not official importers. They can propose you "company" conditioners, which are assembled on the half-underground plant, situated somewhere in China or Malaysia. On the surface these units can be practically the same as the originals, but their quality and "durability" will disappoint you. Such equipment is usually not adapted to the Russian conditions. It is not adapted for the operation under low temperatures, and sometimes are simply switching off when the temperature is lower than +10 -15-T!
In order to avoid the meeting with "not good" articles for sure there is only one way - address a large supplier or its dealer. Companies which undertake obligations considering the quality of proposed services united in the association - APIC, the member of which can become only the organization which have worked to perfection at least for a year. Respectable companies which are working at a market more than a year value their image and that is why they are simply not interested in fraud against the buyers.
